2015-02-04: Prominence Inside Cavity
A prominence erupts over northeast limb of Sun. Prominence material appears to be inside or along the line-of-sight of a darker region known as a coronal or prominence cavity. The erupting prominence exhibits rotation-like motions and much of the visible material appears to fall sunward. Some of the prominence material continues to rise and appears to leave the K-Cor field-of-view. LASCO C2 observed a coronal mass ejection (CME) at the same location from 20:36 UT until early Feb 5.
